START OF THE DAY
We assumed that the working day starts at 8 a.m. At this time, the sales representative sets off to meet their customers, following a pre-planned itinerary.
SALES MEETINGS
We do not impose a minimum number of customer visits. Based on our observations, the average number of sales visits per day is around 10. When our technical consultant attends an appointment, the customer visit can last up to 3 hours, which reduces the number of appointments in a day. The sales representative establishes good relations with the customer, presents the company's offer, advises and negotiates the terms of the transactions concluded. In addition, they can also offer and advise the customer on training courses provided as part of the APP programme, which are tailored to the individual needs of the recipient. During the visit, the sales representative takes the customer's order and records it in the system. The order is immediately forwarded to our warehouse, where it is packed and prepared for shipment (even on the same day).
END OF WORK
Once their field work is complete, the sales representative records all their comments and notes in the programme.
Our technical advisors and product management team provide considerable support to sales representatives by sharing their knowledge and experience to help them resolve technical issues. It is also thanks to them that our customers can count on professional and competent advice.
The person in this position works on the implementation of new products. They examine, verify and test so that we can then market high-quality items. In addition, they must be communicative and open-minded when working with people, as they provide training to employees and customers. They are an invaluable source of knowledge on technical and product issues. In this way, they help resolve all of our customers' technical problems. The work of a technical consultant is challenging, but also very rewarding.
The product manager shapes the product offering. They know the product inside out, ensure its quality, test it and prepare comprehensive product documentation. They must be patient and have nerves of steel when negotiating purchase and delivery terms. The person in this position provides training to our sales representatives and answers all questions at trade fairs. They collaborate with all members of our company. They are also in constant contact with suppliers. They analyse the market in terms of prices and competition. It is largely thanks to the work of the product manager that our company has been a market leader for many years.
