APP Gasket HT

APP GASKET HT is a single-component, permanently elastic, removable sealing compound resistant to temperature fluctuations ranging from -60°C to +315°C. It replaces gaskets made of materials such as rubber, clinker, asbestos, cork, felt, paper, and others.

Application.

• Sealing joints where high chemical and thermal resistance is required.
• Automotive sealing (e.g. water pumps, valve covers, oil pans, timing chain covers, thermostat housings) - not suitable for cylinder head gaskets, exhaust systems, or carburetor seals.
• Heating systems (boilers, storage tanks, heaters), exhaust pipes, pumps, filters, thermostats, furnaces, stoves, and cookers.
  

Properties.

• Chemically resistant paste that replaces traditional gasket materials: rubber, clinker, cork, paper, felt, and asbestos.
• Easy to apply regardless of surface shape.
• Resistant to UV radiation, water, salt, and a wide range of chemicals, including petrol, oils, lubricants, coolants, hydraulic fluids, and antifreeze.
• Remains permanently elastic over a wide temperature range.
• Minimal shrinkage.
• Solvent-free.
